Lunchtime Free Concert Series

Wednesdays are not usually the most exciting day of the week for all of us working. Smacked in the middle of the week– it’s been two days since you’ve tasted the freedom of the weekend, and there’s still two more days to go, until you’re back tanning on your porch (or at the Jersey Shore if you’re lucky). Yet, here at Campus Philly we have found a way to brighten up your Wednesdays with the Lunchtime Concert Series launched by the Center City District.
These concerts will be held every Wednesday of the summer from noon to 1:30pm and will feature different artists at various locations throughout Center City.
When I stumbled upon the southern rhythms of Alligator Zydeco two weeks ago, I quickly realized that the remainder of the upcoming concerts would also be must-sees. If however, a free concert is not enough, grab a Philly favorite and cool off with a water ice given out at each location!
