Philly StartUp Scholars: CAMPUS PHILLY IN COLLABORATION WITH BEN FRANKLIN TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS (BFTP) ANNOUNCE PAID SUMMER INTERNSHIPS AT PHILADELPHIA START-UPS
Who: Current students at Campus Philly partner colleges and universities are eligible to apply for these Summer 2013 internships. Desired skills and fields of study include: STEM, computer science, life sciences, marketing and communications.
What: Internships will be offered by start-up companies supported and funded by Ben Franklin Technology Partners. Stipends of $4,500 per student will be offered to nine students selected to participate. Internships will be full-time and run for 10 weeks starting in June 2013-August 2013.

Technical and Engineering Support Intern at Kerathin LLC
Kerathin is a small medical device company based in Chester PA. It was started in May 2010. We manufacture and sell devices for the care of diabetic foot disorders. The intern will provide a wide range of technical support to development and manufacturing. Desired Qualifications: Mechanical engineer with good CAD skills who enjoys working with hands as well as brains. This is a 5 person company and duties will include finalizing engineering specifications and drawings, some IT support as well as rapid prototyping. The company is located in 1000 square feet of Class A office space in the rehabilitated Delaware County Power Company building near the Commodore Barry Bridge and Union Soccer Stadium right on the Delaware River.
