Here at Campus Philly, students are always asking us questions about launching their careers. Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission:Communications and Public Affairs Intern
Interested in regional planning, communications, and public affairs? The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission is looking for you. You will assist in developing and editing communications materials, implementing public relations tactics, and providing outreach to organizations in the Philadelphia region. Other responsibilities include assisting with several key projects such as the Fiscal Year 2015 Annual Report, Environmental Justice Report, monthly e-newsletter, DVRPC website, and press releases.
United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern NJ: Philadelphia Food Access Collaborative Internship
United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey is offering an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level students to learn about and contribute to the Philadelphia Food Access Collaborative work in combating hunger by helping improve the quality of emergency meals served in Philadelphia. Interns will be responsible for researching best practices of food providers across the country, coordinating volunteers efforts with United Way staff, assisting in coordination of local provider meetings, developing capacity building opportunities, and analyzing data on emergency meal guests and providers. They are looking for interns to work part time (15-18 hours/week) in their office, beginning in September through the month of June with the option for a 12 month opportunity if applicable.
Delval Equipment Corporation: IT intern for Sales and Service Company
A fixture of the Delaware Valley since 1955, Delval Equipment Corporation is looking for an IT intern. Responsibilities will include assisting IT staff with all tasks, including migration from server based system to cloud based system, further development, configuration and maintenance of Sharepoint system for document creation and management, intranet workflow and CRM, development of interface between Sharepoint and existing accounting and business system, and management of PC and network systems and related hardware. Applicants should have completed at least one year of an information systems, computer science, or computer engineering degree.
