Eastern State Penitentiary: Reading of  Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s 1963 “Letter from Birmingham Jail”

Special readings from the landmark text and opportunities for visitors to respond to its relevance today.

Sunday, January 17th
Winter Yoga at the Horticulture Center: “Beat the Winter Blues” Yoga:
In this all-levels yoga class, you will be led through a sequence that creates internal heat, stimulates the immune system and helps you to reconnect with inspiration and joy.

Sunday, January 17th – Friday, January 22nd
Center City District Restaurant Week Winter  2016
Every winter and fall, participating restaurants offer three-course dinners for only $35 per person. In addition, many participating restaurants will also offer a three-course lunch for $20.
