Meeting Philly One Block at a Time || Discovering Your Inner Yogi

Yoga_In_Philly

Pop Up Yoga Philly is on a mission: Host a plethora of sessions in the Philadelphia region for yogis and non-yogis alike. On Friday, May 20th, the team hosted a session at Fairmount Water Works Pavilion. While enjoying the serene views of the Schuylkill River, I twisted, stretched, and bulldozed through my first meditation process.

#TheMoreYouKnow: Am I the only one who didn’t get the memo to take her sneaks off before the sesh? Yep. I was.

For just 17 bucks Pop Up Yoga delivers a fun and calming workout. While connecting with Mother Earth (shoutout to my #1 homie), searching for some internal peace, and connecting the body and the mind, yoga is able to provide some time to get away from the harrows of your work or school day; it’s also a great way to soak up the summer weather, too!

#NextEvent:
June 2: Magic Gardens Pop Up: Vinyasa
June 14: Vino and Vinyasa at Valley Green
June 16: Twilight Pop Up Yoga at Franklin Square
June 17: Yoga ‘Alfresco’ at the Water Works
June 23: Glow and Flow to the 80’s
June 30: Twilight Pop Up Yoga at Franklin Square

#CampusTip: Wear something comfy and embrace your hidden yogi with an open mind. Oh, and please, take your shoes off before the session–rookie mistake!
