Weckerly’s Pop-Up Ice Cream Shop at the Barnes Foundation
Find the ice cream pop-up on the Barnes driveway through Aug. 28, before it moves to the Barnes Fountain Plaza through Sept. 5.

Parks on Tap: Paine’s Park
Parks on Tap is a program in partnership with Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, Fairmount Park Conservancy and Avram Hornik of FCM Hospitality, that brings a traveling beer garden from park to park for 14 weeks.

Twilight in the Gardens at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens
Revel in sweet and soulful tunes while making your own personalized button during our August Twilight in the Gardens! Come and relax picnic-style with a blanket and snacks, or just bring a 6-pack and explore the gardens. No matter how you choose to spend your time you can enjoy the sounds of Unity – a jazz and soul ensemble.

Cinema at the Cemetery
After the sun sets, the grainy joys of the film experience will be brought to audiences amid the historic tombs of Laurel Hill Cemetery. August’s feature film will be Dementia 13 (1963) directed by the legendary Francis Ford Coppola. Don’t forget your wallets! Bombay Local Pizza and the Chilly Banana will be on-site for all of your concession needs. Bring your own blankets or beach chairs, picnics, and/or beverages.
