Post-CollegeFest Hang Out Spots

Written by Campus Philly Interns, Ashley Cappetta & Brenna Fallows

The fun doesn’t stop when CollegeFest ends! After, be sure to check out these well-known Philly spots:

Spruce Street Harbor Park
Take the Philly PHLASH Downtown Bus Loop to Penn’s Landing (Stop 1) and head over to Spruce Street Park! Featuring food trucks, hammocks, games, and ample outdoor seating, Spruce Street Park is definitely a great spot to finish off your fun day at CollegeFest. Grab a hammock and get your relaxation on!

Reading Terminal Market
Serving fresh and local foods everyday, Reading Terminal is the perfect spot to explore some good eats post-CollegeFest! Walk from Dilworth Park or take the Philly PHLASH Downtown Bus Loop (either stops 4 or 8) for some super convenient transportation.

Rittenhouse Square
Ah… Good ole Rittenhouse. Walk on over to Rittenhouse and grab a bench, take in the tree-lined streets and, well, just relax! You could even head into Joe Coffee across the street or opt to shop around in the Barnes & Noble. Regardless of what you end up doing in Rittenhouse, it’s a great place to explore.

Boathouse Row
Stop 11 on the the Philly PHLASH Downtown Bus Loop takes you to Boathouse Row–another awesome hangout spot. Walk along the lit-up boat houses or take a seat on a bench to watch the sunset. After a great day at CollegeFest, Boathouse Row is a perfect hangout spot for killin’ views of the city, illuminated by the outlined boat houses along the Schuylkill River.
