21+’ers! There’s a buzz around Philadelphia and it’s the bees in the beer gardens popping up all over the city! We take pleasure in the small things in life like chilling outside and having a cold drink with our best friends. Lucky for us, there are many places for us to do just that. Below see where we go to have a relaxing time outside.
PHS Pop Up Gardens
15th & South Streets, opening May 9 | uCity Square, 36th & Filbert Streets, coming soon!
The PHS Pop Up Gardens are blooming in two locations this year that offer enticing menus, drinks and special entertainment throughout the summer and early fall.
Both gardens will host a wide range of special programming designed by PHS and our partners including educational gardening workshops, family-friendly activities, live entertainment and special events.
Uptown Beer Garden
Opening Thursday, May 11 | 1735 Market Street
Plan a Center City hang out at Uptown! They have happy hour deals ($5 cocktails, $4 wine, $3 beer and half-priced appetizers) and a number of free samples.
Parks on Tap
Starting May 17 | Various Philadelphia parks
20 weeks, 20 different parks! They provide fresh food, beer on tap, wine, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages in a festive outdoor environment featuring comfortable chairs and hammocks, and clean restrooms.Check out the full 2017 season SCHEDULE.

Brews &Views
Thursdays starting May 18 to June 29 | Skyline Terrace at Free Library on the Parkway
Enjoy drinks on the Skyline Terrance and take in spectacular views of the city during the spring rooftop mini-series of a beer garden at the Free Library on the Parkway!
Local craft beers and refreshing cocktails are available to purchase along with a menu of snacks and from Brûlée Catering. Live entertainment will be provided to get everyone energized.
The Cira Green Beer Garden
Fridays from May 26 to Friday, June 23 | 128 S. 30th Street
