Dining Deals, Free Flicks + More!

The days are long and the list of things to do this summer is even longer! Below is our boiled down list of what to check out this week.

Monday, July 17 to Sunday, July 23

University City Dining Days  Participating restaurants offer a pre-fixe three-course dinner special for $15, $25 or $35. You can dine at a new location every night of the event, or as a tour of the globe without leaving a single neighborhood.

Tuesday, July 18

Campus Philly’s My Philly Summer Party  — Philly’s largest intern party is happening on the Free Library of Philadelphia’s Rooftop Terrace. Update: this event is SOLD OUT!

Taco Tuesday at PHS Pop Up Garden University City Cafe Ynez tacos are 3 for $8 and $5 – Frozen Camenera Mango Margarita! (21+). Yummmm. 

Wednesday, July 19

Louis Bluver Outdoor Movies: Friday at FringeArts — free outdoor movie experience underneath the Ben Franklin Bridge!

Navy Yard Al Fresco 
— enjoy pay-as-you-go food and drinks, live music, lawn games, and local vendors at the Navy Yard’s award-winning park, Central Green!

Pay-What-You-Wish Wednesday at the Philadelphia Museum of Art — the name says it all! You can tour the galleries and participate in activities like yoga in the gallery.

Thursday,  July 20

Schuylkill Banks Movie Series: Finding Dory —  Movie starts at dusk (approximately 8:30 pm on July 20). Come early to participate in a free pre-movie raffle for gift cards from Philadelphia Runner.

Old City Eats — Old City District showcases its thriving dining scene with the return of Old City Eats! From 5:00pm to 8:00pm, thirty participating restaurants and bars will offer at least one half-priced appetizer

Any day of the week you can check out beer gardens all over the city, Spruce Street Harbor Park, Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest and The Midway, and free yoga on Race Street Pier!
