Looking to get off campus and explore Philly? The first step is joining us on Saturday, September 9th for CollegeFest! More than 5,000 students from over 100 schools will be enjoying free admission to 14 local museums + cultural venue, games and freebees from great brands and exhibitors.
So how will you get there? Here are some ways:
Hop on your bike! Whether you have your own or you ride with Indego, start pedaling to Dilworth Park.
Ride with SEPTA. The following SEPTA routes go directly to CollegeFest: 2, 16, 17, 33, 38, 44, 48, 124 & 125, MFL or Trolley to 15th, BSL to City Hall or Regional Rail to Suburban! Map out your trip here.
If you’re coming from Jersey, take the PATCO line (from any station!) to 15-16 and Locust, then head towards South Sydenham St. and hang a left on 15th St. The walk to Dilworth should take less than 10 minute! Tickets to ride PATCO are $3 for a single ride and $6 for a round trip. We recommend a single ride… ’cause once you land in Philly, you’ll want to stay here.
Once you arrive, you will check in with Campus Philly. A valid college ID gets you free admission to FOURTEEN MUSEUMS (!!!) along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and in Historic Philadelphia, and free rides on the Philly PHLASH Downtown Loop® .
The Philly PHLASH Downtown Loop®
Your quick, convenient and affordable connection to Philadelphia’s popular attractions! Ride the PHLASH to 22 stops every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Stops 4 and 5 are within 2 blocks of Dilworth Park, providing easy access to must-see attractions while you are exploring Center City during CollegeFest. CollegeFest attendees who check-in with their student ID at Dilworth Park will receive a wristband that allows rides on the Philly PHLASH for FREE until 6 p.m. on September 9.
