Interested in interning or working for a leading global biotech company with a mission-driven purpose? Join us at Wired Philly on February 11 at The Franklin Institute, and meet the people working at this life-saving organization—Amicus Therapeutics. Learn more about Amicus below!
Amicus Therapeutics is a leading global biotechnology company focused on discovering high-quality medicine for rare diseases. With a unique focus on patients, their caretakers, and families, Amicus is at the forefront of innovation and invention in the fight against rare and orphan diseases.
Headquartered in New Jersey, Amicus opened a Global Research and Gene Therapy Center of Excellence at 3675 Market Street in Philadelphia. They are currently hiring interns in science, program management, gene therapy, accounting and many other areas based in both locations.
Amicus Therapeutics’ story is personal for Chairman and CEO John F. Crowley. John began working within the biotech industry after a 1998 diagnosis of two of his children with Pompe disease—a severe and often fatal neuromuscular disorder. There’s even a movie, Extraordinary Measures, based on the Crowley family’s journey!
