1. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service at the National Constitution Center

The National Constitution Center honors Martin Luther King, Jr.’s lifelong dedication to justice, equality, and service for the greater good with free online educational programs throughout January, and free admission to the museum with special programs and events happening all day on January 15, 2024.

2. Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend at the Museum of the American Revolution

Join the Museum of the American Revolution to honor the life, service, and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. over MLK Weekend, January 13-15, 2024. Discover the ongoing legacy of the American Revolution and learn what it takes to change the world, with in-person and online events!

4. The African American Museum in Philadelphia: Shifting the Cultural Climate

The African American Museum in Philadelphia honors Dr. King’s work in the war on poverty by making a change in their own backyard. On Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend, the museum and Citizens partner to provide discounted admission during MLK weekend and FREE admission on MLK day! Join the AAMP for a weekend of activities including performances, meaningful discussions, family activities, and access to exhibits.

5. Martin Luther King, Jr., Tribute Concert

Join Yannick Nézet-Séguin and your Philadelphia Orchestra as they return to Girard College on January 15 at 3pm, and honor the life and work of the great Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., celebrating our Philadelphia community and the uniting power of music.

The concert is FREE, but tickets are required. Secure your ticket here! Seating is general admission and on a first-come, first-served basis starting 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance.
