Michelle Ahn, Program Manager

Michelle first came to Philadelphia by way of Villanova University (Go Cats!) where she graduated from in 2017. She loved Philadelphia so much, she decided she had to stay! When she’s not working as a Program Manager and helping college students fall in love with Philly, she enjoys eating and taking pictures of her food. You can follow her @phillysecretsauce for some great local restaurant tips. She also loves to explore the city, and is always looking for new coffee shops and local bookstores to take up and read in! Jen Devor

Jennifer Devor, Director, Partnerships

Jennifer’s passions lie at the intersection of innovation, sustainable design, and city living. Because of this, she loves her job of enticing young people to stay put. She does this by introducing students to internships, arts & culture, volunteer opportunities, and cool city spots in hopes they stay in Philly after graduation. She also connects regional employers to the many local colleges and universities to create a talent pipeline. Jennifer has planted her own roots in South Philly, where she is very involved in her neighborhood, sitting on several nonprofit boards and serving as a block captain. Contact Jennifer at

Deborah Diamond, PhD, President

Deborah joined Campus Philly in 2010 as president.  She began her career as a college professor, teaching political philosophy at Columbia University and Bryn Mawr College. But after falling in love with Philadelphia as a place to live, she shifted focus, launching a career in market research and joining Visit Philadelphia as their first director of research and strategy. Deborah holds a BA from Bryn Mawr College and an MA and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.  She serves on the Executive Board of the Bryn Mawr College Alumnae Association, the board of overseers of the Jewish Grad Network of Greater Philadelphia, and the board of the Home and School Association of Science Leadership Academy. Cory Dulaney, Program Manager

From the West Coast of Pennsylvania, Cory attended Duquesne University where he received his degree in Integrated Marketing Communication. Cory moved to Philadelphia to attend graduate school at Temple University where he received his degree in African American Studies. Helping people is his passion and after graduating, Cory has worked with various nonprofit organizations, schools, and community groups. He loves volunteering and working with young people, helping them get connected to all the opportunities Philadelphia has to offer. When he isn’t hiking at Wissahickon, biking around Kelly Drive, or mixing some records in Germantown, you can find Cory in Center City hanging out with friends. Contact Cory at

Roger Estes, Creative Director

Roger decided to move to Philadelphia in 2004, a few months after graduating from the School of Art and Design at Alfred University in New York State. He joined Campus Philly after gaining some great creative experience at Visit Philadelphia, and has also worked on projects with Whipped Bakeshop and some other local businesses. Roger enjoys snowboarding, making animated GIFs, being in the woods, building things out of wood, and exploring new places on his bicycle. Contact Roger at

Debra Kim, Operations and Design Manager

Debra was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia. Her family later moved to the suburbs to finish the remainder of her youth years. She reconnected with Philadelphia when she started her undergrad studies as a graphic design student at Moore College of Art and Design. She spent the summer of 2016 at the Philadelphia Brewing Co. as a graphic design intern. Her time at PBC helped Debra gain valuable creative experiences. Debra joined Campus Philly after graduating from Moore and she is learning new things about Philadelphia while performing her design duties. In her free time Debra likes to visit art museums, watch foreign films, explore Philadelphia for the newest places to eat, and find new jams to listen to on her commute. Contact Debra at

Naima Murphy

Naima Murphy, Manager, Corporate Relations

Naima moved to Philadelphia in 2013 to pursue her Master’s Degree at Drexel University. Upon arrival, she fell in love with the city’s cultural vibrancy, musical history, and diversity of neighborhoods. She joined the Campus Philly Partnerships team after years of building collaborative relationships between local companies and non-profit organizations in the city. Naima enjoys lounging in Philly’s public parks, checking out live music, and serving as a board member for The Spruce Foundation. Contact Naima at

Patrick Sherlock, Vice President, University Relations and Student Engagement

Patrick moved to Philadelphia to attend the University of Pennsylvania, found there was too much to explore over four years, and has lived in the city ever since. Patrick joined Campus Philly after five years as part of the Environment and Communities team at the William Penn Foundation, and participates in several local civic technology, media and creative industry community groups. He enjoys running, walking and biking Philadelphia’s neighborhoods and waterfront trails, as well as SEPTA, local food trucks, dollar hotdog night and Jersey blueberries [in season May-June]. Ella Strauss, Program Manager, Open Arts

Ella is a South Jersey native. She graduated from Davidson College in North Carolina in 2014. She then worked for Alumni Relations and Special Events at Davidson. After five years in the south, she was ready to return to Philadelphia, Wawa and the Jersey Shore. Ella is a huge sports fan, so you can catch her at a game or eager to watch one on TV. She also loves to travel and has been to 56 countries and spent a semester abroad in India. Contact Ella at

Marissa Sudol

Marissa Sudol, Engagement Director

Marissa has called Philadelphia home for more than ten years, graduating from Temple University with a dual focus in Strategic Communications and Spanish. Since then, she has worked in meaningful Marketing and Communications roles within the agency, non-profit, startup, and hospitality industries. Marissa’s enthusiasm for sharing all that the city has to offer led her to Campus Philly in 2018, when she joined the team as the Engagement Director. For Marissa, the perfect day in Philly includes running or biking along the Schuylkill, hiking in the Wissahickon with her dog, or seeking out the most delicious food in the city. Contact Marissa at

Ashlie Thornbury, Vice President, Partnerships

Ashlie Thornbury leads Campus Philly’s Partnerships team, which generates and fulfills partnerships that provide valuable opportunities for thousands of college students. Ashlie joined Campus Philly 6 years ago, directing career programs & events. She launched the Corporate Membership Program in 2012, which she continues to oversee and grow in addition to many successful marketing partnerships. Locally, Ashlie is a committee member of the Young Women’s Initiative of Women’s Way and nationally, she serves on the Volunteer Advisory Council for the American Brain Tumor Association.
