At the Museum of the the American Revolution is holding an event that commemorates George Washington, the first President of the United States.  Guest's can dress-up in costumes that represent the Revolution.  Guests can also see the field tent that was Washington's headquarters during the Revolutionary War.

The African American Museum in Philadelphia and Taller Puertorriqueño produce a dance program entitled Wemilere — which celebrates the eight Yoruba orishas (deities) — featuring the Kulu Mele African Dance and Drum Ensemble. The event, which also includes a performance by the Afro-Cuban Rhythms, concludes with a Q&A session.
