How to Make the Most of Your Summer Internship

June 8 @ 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm

Organizer: Campus Philly

Where: Zoom! Sign up to get the link.

This is the summer where it ALL begins. You’re making money, gaining professional experience, meeting new coworkers for coffee or happy hour, and fully embracing being an intern in Philadelphia. Every day is a new adventure. You knew Philly was the best city to be a college student, but now you’re realizing how awesome it is as a young professional.

Kick off your summer internship and join us for a special panel discussion on everything you need to know about Philly’s best neighborhoods (the best cafes, food deals, and places to spend your lunch break); saving, budgeting, and financial tips to get you through the summer with money saved for the fall; and how to connect with coworkers, fellow interns, and your supervisor to cultivate professional relationships that can help you land a full-time job after graduating.

Here’s who you’ll meet in this panel discussion on June 8, taking place on Zoom:

    • Sharana Worsley,  Vice President, Market Manager | EPA, NJ, DE, Community Development at Citizens
    • Maddie Gebert, Supply Chain Finance at Campbell Soup Company
    • Ayannah KamrynCampus Philly Event Host and Storyteller

BONUS! Every. Single. Person. who signs up for this event will be automatically entered to win one of these prizes:

  • Five lucky winners will receive $10 credits to honeygrow (our favorite lunch break spot!)
  • Four interns will receive a pair of tickets for FREE admission to our Philly Night Out event at the Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival on June 29 (regularly $12)
  • ONE attendee will receive a gift card to Red Parasol Cafe in Old City, the best spot for an informational interview, coffee chat with a supervisor, or a coffee break with fellow interns.
