If you’re looking for an event where you can chow down on some authentic Mexican Tacos, keep reading. The Association of Mexican Business Owners of Philly ( @aemphilly ) has assembled nine of Philly’s top taco makers to form their inaugural Taco Fiesta being held at Bok (800 Mifflin St.) on Thursday September 22nd from 6 pm – 9 pm.
In addition to the food, the event will also feature a variety of local vendors including Reed Flowers, Philatinos Radio, Julieta Zavala (Fashion), Choco Arte and Artesanias Mundo de Queen. Drinks will also be available onsite to purchase. Tickets to the festival are available on Eventbrite.
“We want to share an experience in which the people visiting can try the different restaurants and find their favorite. Also, we want to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and show the potential of these emerging businesses. We want to put the emerging business in the spotlight, showing that them does not only have a variety of Mexican food but a cultural and economic impact on the Philadelphia area,” states association board member Erik Barragán.
