The Office of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy (OACCE) closes the gap in access to quality cultural experiences and creative expression through the support and promotion of arts, culture, and the creative industries; connecting Philadelphians to enriching, arts-infused experiences; linking local artists and cultural organizations to resources and opportunities; and preserving the City’s public art assets.

OACCE seeks a part time Intern to support its Arts Access, Neighborhood Arts, Public Art, and Art in City Hall programs as well as additional special projects. Tasks may vary based on the intern’s skillset and interests, and could include supporting the development of promotional content, researching opportunities for local cultural organizations and artists, assisting with in-person and virtual community engagement events, organizing a growing internal contact database, and more.

• Experience with research and organization of databases
• Experience with in-person and virtual event support and documentation
• Prior experience in an office setting or team structure preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
• Experience with Adobe Suite or Canva welcome
• Experience in publishing digital content with WordPress and MailChimp welcome
• Pursuing a degree in the Arts, Public Administration, Arts Administration, or a similar field
