This position will operate in a hybrid work environment, 2-3 days per week in the office (Philadelphia, PA).

The primary function of a Tax Preparer is to assist in the preparation of tax returns and help with planning for Glenmede clients.

Tax preparation. Federal and State Tax Return preparation for all the following: Individual, Partnership, S Corp, and Gift.

Client service. Work closely with other members of the firm to best meet our client’s needs. Provide input for tax planning and tax projections.

Firm Building. Develop a strong knowledge of Tax functions, policies, procedures, and best practices. Participate in special projects and identify process improvements.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is required
An accountant with 1-3 years of experience in preparation of individual income tax returns is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with tax preparation for high-net-worth individuals a plus
Ability to communicate tax concepts to clients and others in a clear and concise manner
Excellent knowledge of technology with emphasis on spreadsheet, word processing and tax preparation software (MS Word and Excel required, CCH ProSystem a plus)
Ability to handle a wide variety of activities
Ability to interact effectively with high-net-worth clients, attorneys, CPAs and co-workers
