There’s never been a better time to launch your career in Philly, and at our annual career event for science and technology majors (and everyone in between!), you’re guaranteed to make connections with some of the region’s top STEM employers, and learn about the innovative opportunities available to students and recent graduates like you.

Join us at The Franklin Institute for a casual network-building event (seriously—we keep things low-key) where you’ll connect with companies currently hiring for internships and entry-level roles in science, technology, app development, coding, and biotechnology including: Amicus Therapeutics, Bender Inc., Blackfynn, Chemours, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Comcast, Energage, Freedom Mortgage, GREEN Program, HUE Tech Summit, Independence Blue Cross, IntePros Consulting Inc., Johnson Matthey, Pruftechnik, Radian, Sabre Systems Inc., SAP, Shuttlebee, USLI, Vanguard, and Venture for America

Meet with recruiters, connect with young professionals in science and technology roles, and learn about how YOU can launch your career in one of the nation’s fastest-growing industries.

Bonus: We’ll be giving away tickets to The Franklin Institute’s special exhibit, Worst Case Scenario: Survival Experience, to select attendees. Follow us on Instagram for updates on how YOU can be one of the lucky winners! See you at Wired.

You don’t have to wait for a Campus Philly event to launch your career. Start your future in Philly with these easy tips:

  1. Hundreds of local employers are on, waiting to meet someone like you. All you have to do to take advantage of the site is sign up! Don’t know where to start? Campus Philly publishes a weekly roundup of our favorite gigs.
  2. If you haven’t been already, go to your career service office (even alumni can do this). Your career coach at this office will become your cheerleader in the job search. They’ll give you tips and tricks and if a dream gig pops up, they’ll be the first to tell you about it. But this can’t happen if you don’t go in and meet them!
  3. Even if you’re not actively searching for a gig, you should be working towards making yourself more competitive. Use this time to polish your resume, volunteer at an organization of your interest or take an online class that will supplement what you’re learning in school!
