My favorite thing about East Passyunk is the walkability; you will always see people around the SINGING FOUNTAIN – located right in the heart of PASSYUNK SQUARE.
Stroll down artsy EAST PASSYUNK AVENUE and pop into the unique boutiques selling accessories, women’s and men’s clothing, gardening supplies, home goods, bikes, stationery and more!
If you’re addicted to coffee like me, you must try RIVAL BROS COFFEE BAR; the nitro cold brew is astounding and will certainly keep you awake for class or work!
As someone who loves a mouthwatering breakfast, I highly recommend BLACK ‘N BREW; the French toast is absolutely delicious! Insider Tip: Hot or iced coffee is just $1 during Happy Hour, 3-5 p.m. Monday–Friday.
One annual event that you can’t miss is the LA FESTA DELLA REPUBBLICA (Italian National Day Festival). It’s a free event in the spring featuring an assortment of food, crafts, specialty items, wine and beer! You won’t leave hungry!
You can’t visit South Philadelphia without getting a cheesesteak! (Personally I like my cheesesteak “whiz wit’out.”) PAT’S KING OF STEAKS is a Philly phenomenon that brings in hundreds of thousands annually from near and far!
