My very first stop is always LA COLOMBE COFFEE ROASTERS’ flagship location on Frankford Avenue. It’s a massive renovated warehouse that is part restaurant, bakery and bar (with a stage tucked away where artists perform weekly!).

WILD MUTATION RECORDS is one of the only record stores in Philly that focuses on sharing rare punk and hardcore collections.

Stop at PALMER PARK or PENN TREATY PARK (right along the Delaware River!), lovely green spaces where you can relax and talk to residents that’ll stroll around the park (and if you’re lucky – with their dogs!).

URBAN EXCHANGE PROJECT is the place to be when hunting for secondhand and vintage clothing that’s both affordable and beyond chic. Everything is 20% off for students on Wednesdays, so bring your ID!

On 2nd Street in Northern Liberties is NORTH BOWL, a retro-themed bowling alley with 17 lanes, arcade games, billiards and Philly’s best tater tots.

DOLCE & CAFFE is right around the corner. They import the majority of their goods from Italy, so go here for authentic cannoli, gelato and espresso.

My personal favorite spot to visit is the EDGAR ALLAN POE HOUSE. If you’re a fan of poetry, the infamous brooding Poe or the general mysterious, you have to visit (no entrance fee!).
