Campus Philly Stakeholder Newsletter

July 2015

Dear Campus Philly Stakeholder,

Happy New Year! Not only does July kick off a new fiscal year for Campus Philly, it’s also the time we start to welcome new and returning students back to campus. From July through September, Campus Philly goes on the road for our “Meet Philly Tour,” making more than 100 visits to regional college campuses. We’re at welcome events for transfer and international students, trainings for RAs and student life staff on using our programs, and orientation events for freshmen arriving on campus and in Philadelphia for the first time. All these groups receive Campus Philly’s Insider Guide to Philadelphia, a handbook for students on how to make Philadelphia their own.

We invite you to take a look at the newest edition of the Insider Guide below, let us know if you’d like a few copies for your students or new hires, and read on to learn about all the great events we’re inviting students to take part in as they arrive on campus.

Upcoming events: Fall 2015 Career Events.

Campus Philly Career EventThis fall, Campus Philly is producing four great career events for college students in a variety of fields, including finance, healthcare innovation, and the creative & cultural sectors. These events provide two opportunities for students: to learn about the many career paths within Philadelphia’s thriving industries and to get introduced to employers who are interested in recruiting or mentoring our region’s future workforce.
