Campus Philly Stakeholder Newsletter

March 2017

Dear Stakeholders,

As we approach graduation season in May, Campus Philly hears the question: are students staying and are there jobs for them here? Campus Philly’s recent study Ready to Launch will be released at our Annual Meeting on June 1, 2017, but the data is already in and looking good.

  • More than half of seniors think they have a better chance of finding a job in Greater Philadelphia than elsewhere.
  • College attainment for Philadelphia residents between the ages of 25 and 34 has gone up 50% in the last 15 years.

This trend of Philadelphia as a talent hub is taking hold. As more college students stay, the region becomes more attractive to businesses looking to grow and young people looking for a vibrant community.

Campus Philly builds the connections between college students and the professional, social and civic opportunities they’re looking for in their post-graduation destination. Read on for more about what this spring’s connections look like.

Thanks for your continued support of Campus Philly.
