South street fall pumpkin fest

The South Street Headhouse District has plenty of tricks and treats for children and adults of all ages during the neighborhood’s annual Halloween festivities.
On Saturday, October 26, 2019, from Noon to 5:00pm, Fall PumpkinFest returns to Headhouse Square (2nd and Lombard) with circus performances,  live music, crafts for kids, seasonal bites, Pumpkin Putt-Putt golf, a straw bale maze, face painting and costume contests.
There will even be a pumpkin pie eating contest

Witches and Wizards Festival

This fall, Chestnut Hill renews its seasonal tradition for the charming urban village that unites mischief and ghosts of wizards-past, with family fun for an action-packed Witches & Wizards Festival weekend. Kicking off with Brews and Broomsticks Pub Crawl on Friday, October 18 and continuing with a day full of family-friendly programming on Saturday, October 19 – the 2019 Witches & Wizards Festival promises spooktacular entertainment and activities in a whimsical community setting.

“We are excited to bring a fun experience for visitors to our community during the Witches & Wizards Festival,” said Philip Dawson, Executive Director of Chestnut Hill Business District. “From the reincarnation of the beloved pub crawl, to all the free, family-friendly activities, the weekend of Witches & Wizards festivities embodies all the magic that happens in Chestnut Hill year-round.”
