Free Museum Day:  Christ Church

Founded in 1695, Christ Church has been cited as “the finest specimen of Colonial architecture standing.” During the Revolutionary Era, it hosted the Continental Congresses and counted Benjamin Rush, Benjamin Franklin and Betsy Ross among its members. Tour the sanctuary for FREE on Saturday, June 29.

BONUS! Join Christ Church at 7 p.m. on July 4 for “Patriotic Pipes,” a FREE and family-friendly concert of traditional and contemporary organ tunes.

Did you know? Christ Church Preservation Trust oversees the Tourism program and historic preservation needs of Christ Church (2nd and Market) and its two burial grounds (2nd and Market, 5th and Arch), which hold more signers of the Declaration of Independence than any other property in America.
