Global Philadelphia Association’s (GPA) “Sustainable Development Goals Pitch Night” provides a fun and innovative platform for locals to identify a need in their city around 5 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and then creatively devise a project idea to address one of those goals, all while enjoying good company, delicious pizza, and cold beer!
The Five Goals to Choose From are:
#1 No Poverty, #2 Zero Hunger, #3 Good Health and Well-Being, #4 Quality Education, #5 Gender Equality
One of GPA’s missions is to build public awareness and ownership of Philadelphia’s recent “World Heritage City” designation. Pitch night is the perfect mix of socializing and civic engagement, held at West Philadelphia’s very own Clarkville (43rd and Baltimore). The best pitch wins! So come on out and help make Philly a more sustainable and progressive World Heritage City!
